HI! I’m D…Dani…Danette…I answer to pretty much anything that starts with a D. I live in Fort Worth with my husband and 3 kids. I am a teacher turned photographer turned teacher/photographer. I feel pretty darn lucky to be able to fuel both my passions.
Why Photography? As a mom of 3 boys (who aren’t so little anymore), I understand that life happens fast! Watching my kids grow and change so rapidly is one of the things that drew me to photography in the first place. One minute your are carrying a baby around on your hip complaining about how heavy they are and the next, you're watching them pull out of the driveway in their new car wondering how in the world you got to this place. At the end of the day, a photograph allows you to freeze time, even if only for a moment. But the final result, a photograph, is something to be treasured for generations.
